Creativity Book
The objective was to craft an instructional manual on a subject I'm deeply passionate about—encouraging creativity and curiosity in everyone.
This book project is a tangible expression of that goal. It delves into extensive research on the diverse methods individuals employ to stay creative, presenting these insights in a colorful and interactive format. The aim is to provide a resource that not only informs but actively encourages readers to cultivate their creativity and embrace a mindset of perpetual curiosity.

Layout
In my research, the recurring theme of creativity led me to a unanimous tool used by creatives—the sticky note. These versatile notes serve as a canvas for jotting down thoughts, receiving feedback, and sparking new ideas. Drawing inspiration from the colors and distinctive shape of sticky notes, they became the foundational elements of this book.
The layout adheres to a grid system based on the square, mirroring the form of sticky notes. The chosen colors replicate those of my personal collection of sticky notes. Images are presented in a square ratio, and all titles are scripted to emulate the handwritten quality of notes. Through these design choices, the pages convey an immediate sense of fun, curiosity, and creativity, capturing the essence of the creative process.
Process
Once I had the concept, I started using InDesign and Illustrator to put together the pages for the book. I wanted the book to be engaging, so I added different things for readers to interact with.
For this project, I did a bunch of research and took lots of notes. I filled many pages in my notebook with my thoughts and ideas, and I also used a long Word document. Alongside the research, I wrote all the words inside the book.
The end product is a 72-page book all about creativity and tips on how to be more creative. It's split into eight chapters, and each chapter has an activity for readers to try out what they learned. Creating this book involved a mix of drawing, working on the computer, and bringing everything together.
Interaction
The book features interactive activities that readers can complete using a whiteboard marker. These whiteboard activities are designed to spark creative thinking and curiosity. Additionally, the book includes various maps and treasure hunts intended to encourage readers to step outside their classrooms or homes and explore the city around them. The activities are crafted to be reusable by allowing readers to erase the transparent pages once they've finished using them, ensuring that the interactive elements can be enjoyed repeatedly.
